Trial Lawyers for High Stakes Litigation

Ogborn Mihm is a full-service litigation firm of trial-tested and accomplished lawyers who handle complex cases across a wide spectrum of practice areas, focusing primarily on cases with a significant likelihood of going to trial. We have earned the respect of our clients and colleagues on account of our individualized attention to cases, our unwavering resolve to obtain the best result we can by taking any case the necessary distance, our expertise in complicated areas of the law, and our professionalism.

What We Do

We assess, prepare, and present each case individually based on its unique facts and circumstances; there is no template for the personalized representation we provide.

Bankruptcy brings its own set of complex rules, unfamiliar to many lawyers. Our bankruptcy trial lawyers represent trustees, or parties, in bankruptcy litigation, particularly high-stakes matters involving legal malpractice, business torts, preference payments to creditors, and fraudulent conveyance claims.
Our business fraud lawyers have represented clients in high-stakes litigation for decades. Our experience in hundreds of cases involving a wide variety of claims allows us to apply maximum pressure from day one, combining aggressive representation with effective strategy.
Our lawyers have litigated and tried contract and other business disputes for individuals and businesses for many years. We know you are not in business to pay legal bills, and we develop case strategies that minimize risk, cost and delay.
If you are a business owner going through a “business divorce,” or one of your partners is abusing their power, breaching agreements, or shirking their fiduciary duties, our trial lawyers can help you navigate the transition and hold wrongdoers accountable.
Whether the dispute involves scope of work issues, delay and acceleration claims, design and defect claims, or environmental issues, our construction attorneys are here to assist you. The end goal of construction is to get something built, and our role is to help you make it happen.
Our employment law attorneys represent individuals, including executives and in-house counsel, who’ve suffered workplace injustice. From sexual harassment, to whistleblower retaliation, to breach of employment contract, to defense in non-compete cases, our attorneys advocate for and counsel employees.
Whether you are an individual or a company, whether you have auto, professional liability, homeowners, HOA, or business insurance, our insurance dispute attorneys will help you navigate the complex, demanding maze of bad faith insurance disputes.
When a lawyer’s negligence causes significant damage, our legal malpractice attorneys step in for individuals and businesses. Whether the misconduct relates to a lawsuit, business transaction, estate plan, or intellectual property, our attorneys help make something wrong right.
Medical professionals literally hold a patient’s life in their hands. When one negligently injures or kills a patient, our attorneys step in. If someone whose promise is to make things better makes things worse, our lawyers can help.
If you or a family member have suffered a catastrophic brain injury, burn, spinal injury, or other life-altering harm, we’re here to help. We represent victims and families in navigating the complexities of insurance, medical care, negotiation and litigation.
Family matters can be complicated. If your family is in a dispute involving a trust, estate, or other probate matter, we represent family members, trustees, and personal representatives in litigation, and counsel fiduciaries about their duties, roles and responsibilities.
Our whistleblower and qui tam attorneys represent and counsel individuals who uncover illegal, unethical, or fraudulent conduct. We represent relators and whistleblowers who wish to report fraud or other wrongful conduct or who have suffered retaliation for doing so.
