Melissa helped her clients recover $1.8 million for deaths and injuries resulting from a tractor-trailer collision.
Melissa was successful in recovering $1.4 million for her client injured in a collision who suffered spinal damage, requiring extension of a two level cervical fusion to six levels, and a mild traumatic brain injury with significant tinnitus.
Melissa led the charge in recovering $2.375 million for a brain injured client resulting from a car crash.
Melissa helped her client recover $1 million for her client with pelvic crush injuries resulting from a car versus pedestrian collision.
After telling her client’s story, a jury awarded Melissa’s client a $1.124 million verdict for to compensate for injuries from a severe collision that included upper cervical ligamentous laxity, mild thoracic compression fracture, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Melissa recovered $1.75 million for a client who suffered significant burn injuries on an airplane when a flight attendant knocked over a hot beverage.

Some of her publications include articles about vestibular injuries caused by traumatic brain injuries, the Colorado regulations governing motor vehicle insurance, health insurance subrogation in the personal injury case, and medical-legal issues related to neck and back injuries caused by car crashes.
Melissa is active in the community, helping organizations that assist people who have been injured as they work toward recovery. She has served as the President of the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, as a board member of the Chanda Plan Foundation, and as a board member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers’ Association.
Melissa’s representation has resulted in numerous seven figure resolutions and awards for her clients, and she has been recognized for her excellence in the practice of law.
